Each slab is hand-carved from beautiful black siris hardwood and features a carved edge. The simple surfaces come in numerous sizes and make prime platforms for your displays — be they functional, collectable, or edible. The color will vary from piece to piece.

• Care Instructions - Wash with soapy water and towel dry. Do not submerge in water. Avoid the dishwasher as the intense heat can dry out the piece. Once a month or so, apply a little food-safe mineral oil using a soft cloth; do not treat the wood with cooking oils such as olive or vegetable oil. If the piece begins to feel rough or feathery, use a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth it. Stains or burn marks may be sanded away.
